Forgot about this blog until today

Is anyone still reading this blog? It hasn't been updated in a while. So, this month we're supposed to read North & South and The Five Love Languages, right?!

Anyone there? Hello? Bueller? Bueller???

When do we meet?

My husband will be out of town next week, so since I will need some adult time, I think we should meet either Monday, Tuesday, or Friday. (I am assuming of course that you have all read the books. )

Since I am initiating this I can offer my house :) We met at 10:00 last time right? Should we do that again too?

Questions

So, I was looking at the questions at the back of the book, meaning to put one in here....did you even know there were Jane Austin fansites? I looked one up. I love Jane Austin, but not that much. Actually, I mostly just like two or three Jane Austin books. Anyway, if you'd like to start a discussion about the books I'm game. I'm not totally jazzed about the questions they give, but I'm game.

Duty and Desire...

So, I got the books and started reading Duty and Desire, thinking it was first. It would have helped to read the cover. Anyway, I got well enough in and I have to tell you, if Georgiana joins a nunnery I'm done! I got so fed up with the prospect that I actually read the back cover and realized that I was on the wrong book and happily switched over. So I am very glad to tell you that I'm enjoying An Assembly Such as This very much. Whew.
Someone just tell me that Georgiana does not, in fact, join a nunnery. I would enjoy all of this a lot more.

The First of the Set

Two days in a car (and then staying up too late), I finished the first in the set. It was so much fun.
